VSARN is hosting a caucus space, also called organizing hubs, for students and adults to come together and discuss policy, social justice, and organizing tactics in our communities. Anyone is welcome, with a specific target audience of high school and college students. Our first meeting will be Monday January 20th at 11am in four locations: White River Junction, Middlebury, Bennington, and Burlington

These spaces will feature policy discussions with local legislators, where students can explore the issues they care about and how to advocate through bills. In the coming months, we will bring students to the Statehouse to testify in person on their chosen bills. This caucus space will also serve as a deconstructed book club, where we will study civil rights movements and social justice issues together. Lastly, it will allow us as a community to come together at an uncertain time in our country and just connect!
